Finally shelving his previous album, Rainbow Connection, Kermit the Frog embarked on a new musical venture today and embraces Emo with his rendition of Radiohead’s Creep. When asked why he chose to play the acoustic version of the song, Kermit stated that he wanted to remain true to the original writing of the song that so completely captured Thom Yorke’s original emotions.

Kermit’s new album, the Rainbow Disconnection, will be available in stores and iTunes soon. Watch tomorrow for a sneak peak of another song to be released on the album, a cover of “Hurt” by Nine Inch Nails.
