Leaked from the Tri-Star vaults last week, the original trailer to the uber-chick flick, Sleepless in Seattle, is taking the world by storm. This video shows the producer’s original intent - to create a dark, violent horror movie that probes the disturbed psyche of a child who lost his mother.

In the end, a softer, chickier version of the movie was cut and made. But at least the next time a guy’s significant other forces him to prod through two hours of this sappy Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan movie, he can keep running this story line though his mind… and actually enjoy the show.
